I attended the WE-Heraeus and NARIT Cosmology School 2025 in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The program combined lectures, hands-on data analysis, and collaborative projects, providing an intensive insight into modern observational and theoretical techniques.

JIVE Summer School

Participated in the JIVE Summer School in Dwingeloo, Netherlands, learning the fundamentals of VLBI radio interferometry and calibrating & imaging our own EVN observation datasets shared with Pretoria.

Bachelor Thesis

Bachelor Thesis Astronomy

Completed my Bachelor in Aerospace Computer Science at Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg, Germany. Thesis conducted at the Chair of Astronomy under Prof. Matthias Kadler and Prof. Ingo Scholtes: "Search for Positronium Recombination Lines with the Effelsberg 100m Telescope".

China Concert Tour

Orchestra China

As part of the Mozart Symphony Orchestra from Hannover, I took part in a concert tour across China over Christmas and New Year 2024/2025. We traveled extensively by bus, high-speed train, and flights, travelling to cities including Shanghai, Beihai, Fangchenggang, Nanning, Dongguan, Leshan, Mianyang, Longchang, and Suzhou. The tour offered a unique opportunity to perform in a variety of venues and experience the rich cultural diversity of each region.

Exchange at NTNU Norway

NTNU Trondheim

Spent an academic exchange semester as an ERASMUS student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway, attending courses in Ethical Hacking, Space Technology, Game+, and Norwegian, while enjoying the opportunity to meet students from diverse backgrounds and experience Trondheim’s winter landscapes with snow and frozen lakes.

WüSpace Weather Balloon

WüSpace Weather Balloon

As part of a WüSpace student project, we launched a weather balloon equipped with self-built instrumentation to measure atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity. A camera on board recorded the ascent, capturing stunning views of the atmosphere and providing valuable data for our analysis of local weather conditions.

Namibia Concert Tour

In October 2018, I went on a concert tour with the Helmholtz Gymnasium Orchestra to Namibia. We started in Windhoek and traveled across the country, visiting Etosha National Park, Swakopmund, Kolmanskop, Lüderitz, and several other towns. The trip was an incredible experience with many concerts, host families, and unforgettable sights throughout the country.

Exchange at Kingswood College South Africa

I spent five months as an exchange student at Kingswood College in Makhanda, South Africa. I played in the Concert Band and went on a concert tour to Botswana and Zimbabwe. It was an amazing time full of music, new friendships, and exciting cultural experiences, an unforgettable experience.

In October 2017, I went on a concert tour to the USA with the Big Band of Helmholtz Gymnasium. We started in Philadelphia and gradually made our way to New York. The trip was an amazing experience, with concerts, host families, and many exciting impressions. We ended in New York, a truly impressive city, where we also had some time to explore.
